At the title screen, push the D-pad in a certain direction. The game will ask if you’ve already saved data. Choose no and then Yes. Next, you will be asked if you’re sure you want to delete all saved data. Choose yes to the question. If you try to back out, the game will automatically restart.

Press B + X at the beginning of the game. It will ask “Would you like to delete all saved data?” Select “Yes”. On your last chance, select “Yes”.
