You can delete your entire email through email settings, but for easy access, you can just delete your mail from Inbox, then trash it.

When you press Edit, then select All to select all the messages in your incoming mail. Then press Trash to delete all of those emails. If you need to select individual emails you can go to Edit and press Select All. Then press Trash or Archive to move them to the trash.
