As for deleting realms – As long as you haven’t already canceled your subscription, the realms will remain in your account. You won’t however be able to use them for any purpose.

Realms will be deleted if you don’t cancel your trial within 30 days. However, if you cancel it before the trial is up, you can still play games and use it.
Are Realms permanent?
The Minecraft Realms is a monthly service. So you get a new realm to play with every month. You can even play on two if you wish to play with a friend. The monthly fee is a one-time fee.
Does your realm get deleted if you don’t pay?
Your maps will not be deleted if you have not logged in for a year unless you log into the website and delete from there. You can do this at any time before the 18-month expiration period ends. Your world is permanently deleted after being inactive for more than 18 months.
