Google Chrome will keep recent searches in your browser history. Once you’ve deleted recent searches, you’ll need to clear your browsing history to clear the recent searches.

I would like to talk about the recent activities on Google. When you go to myactivity.google.com in your computer you can see all your recent activity on Google. This can be seen by clicking on Delete under Your activity. The next drop-down menu allows you to choose all your recent activity for one month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and All time.
You can continue with the process by clicking Next.
The last drop-down menu enables you to select the items you want to delete.
