There are two ways to reset your Pottermore account:
You can either delete your Pottermore account, or you can log out of your account. Deleting your account will completely delete all of your content, including posts and comments, from Pottermore as well as from other social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Logging out of your account will also remove you from being able to comment on posts or create new ones.
You can also log out of your account at any time by clicking the “Log Out” button next to the “Your Account” icon in the top right-hand corner of the site. If you log in again within a few minutes, you’ll be able to see any new posts that have been created since you last logged out.
Wizarding World Account Reset To To Retake House And Patronus Quizzes
Don’t panic! If you have a Hogwarts account, you’re still able to take the Patronus and House Quizzes. The account is simply resetting to try and get us to re-take these in order to regain access to the full wizarding world.
With some careful planning, you should be able to use this time to complete your coursework and ensure that you’re ready for next year’s exams. If you’re not sure how to plan ahead or need any help, don’t hesitate to reach out!

If you’re wondering how to change house on Pottermore, or which house is best for you, here’s a simple trick that you can utilise. To change your house on Pottermore, all you have to do is head over to the Hogwarts Express section of Pottermore and choose which house you want to be sorted into. Once there, choose the house logo and then click “Yes” on the pop-up box.
That’s it!
You don’t have to do anything else – as soon as you click “Yes” your house will be changed immediately. If you’re not sure about which house to pick, it might be a good idea to check out the guide below so that you can get an idea of what each one stands for.
As long as you follow these tips, there shouldn’t be any problems when it comes to changing houses.
Can You Delete Your Pottermore Account And Start Over?
Yes. You can get rid of your Pottermore account and start over. Your previous profile, achievement records, and all the other content you’ve created will be there for you to pick up where you left off.
First, delete your account from the website. Then, open a new browser window and log in to Pottermore using your email address and password. The user interface will look very different from your previous one, but you should still be able to find everything you’ve created.
Lastly, to permanently remove yourself from the system, visit the Privacy & Cookies settings page and select Remove me from this site. This will remove all of your posts and data from the site.
If you want to start over with a fresh sheet of paper, go ahead!
Just make sure that you keep any information that could help identify you (e.g., name or address) out of sight so no one else can find it.
Can I Retake My Pottermore?
Yes, you can retake any of your Pottermore essays at any time. It’s free to do so and done via the website. There are no fees or any additional costs involved to retake an essay.
It’s important to note that if you take more than one retake for the same essay, your score will be averaged out and compared to the other retakes. If you have one total score of 85% or better, you are eligible to receive an A.
If your scores are below 85%, you might be allowed to retake the test a second time.
It will depend upon how many retakes you have completed and what kind of score you received on the first try. As long as your overall average is at least 70%, you may be able to take a second attempt at the test.
